my intention is to bring beauty, wonder and positive energy into homes.
Mistral is the ancient name of the north-west wind. The word is derived from the ancient provencal "maestral", being a wind originating from a "maestra" direction, principal, like that of the eternal city.
Created in the first years of the new milennium, it immediately earned a place of honour among the wind chimes, pleasing many people with a sound at the same time, warm and harmonious, sweet and deep, and with so many delicate harmonies. Some say that it has an angelic sound.
With regard to the shape I was inspired by a space ship; the sail balancing the curved forms of the other elements. It is a triangle in the shape of a harp pointing downwards and supported on the opposite side by a small triangular ring which points up.

The wood used is cypress, which with its intense scent of resin, has a sacred and up-lifting essence. It is naturally resistant to damp and moths.

It is tuned to a pentatonic SOL scale, the note of our Mother Earth.
